Good day was had by Steve & Steph & the boys. Plenty of codling on the hard ground at Flamborough Head. Moved off at slack water to try the wrecks. Multiple pouting and ling up to 11lb. Cod up to 6lb.
Fish magnet 'Steph' caught plenty of cod, ling, pouting and a few mackerel.
Enjoyable day both for skipper & Anglers.

Another successful wrecking trip for the HEIDI J 5th sept 2014 a group photo of bernie and his friends on his birthday trip with about 40 ling caught on the day between the 5 of them,overall a successful september up to now with plenty of cod and ling caught lets hope this month carrys on like today

had two 3 hour trips today.
weather was great with the sea like a mirror and the sun beaming down on us all day.
fishing was perfect with some nice cod pollock and ling showing as well as the usual mackerel for this time of year.
one of the lads managed to get a belting cod of 14lb. View Boats Page

To be fair, I don't think I can remember an August quite as windy as this last one here at Whitby. More cancelled trips than enough!!
On the days we have been getting away, the fishing has been nice and steady with some good size cod and ling showing on the wrecks. The inshore wrecks producing a good number of codling around the 5lb stamp.
The September competition is starting soon ( 13th ) and runs to the 28th. We only have a couple of days left now with any spaces, so if you fance a crack at the big cash prize give me a ring to secure your place.

Today was belter for gp and his party there eyes were well and truelly opended on sea-otter 2 they wanted cod and that is just what they got.

Still some good cod fishing here at whitby but the lings in size have really come out to play personal bests just keep coming on sea- otter 2 as allways the lads get 110% effort every time .

Rough Ground still fishing well
we had a 6 hour trip and a 3 hour trip today with several cod and pollock caught, conditions were far from perfect with a strong wind all day.
the 6 hour trip produced some good size cod and Pollock between 3 and 5lb and loads of mackerel, but when we got out again on our 3 hour trip the wind and tide were in the same direction and we were drifting to fast so we ended up anchoring up and bait fishing which produce a few nice fish.
