Report on-board Sea Otter 2
Today was belter for gp and his party there eyes were well and truelly opended on sea-otter 2 they wanted cod and that is just what they got.
The lads with just a few of there fish a few into double figures but a lor 5-8lb a great day for the boys.

1st November to the 16th November its the whitby sea anglers uptiding festival over £4000 in cash prize £1000 to the angler with the biggist cod over the two weeks some belting cod fishing here at whitby dont miss out get your place booked if its cod your after you are after whitby is the place .

Still some good cod fishing here at whitby but the lings in size have really come out to play personal bests just keep coming on sea- otter 2 as allways the lads get 110% effort every time .

Rough Ground still fishing well
we had a 6 hour trip and a 3 hour trip today with several cod and pollock caught, conditions were far from perfect with a strong wind all day.
the 6 hour trip produced some good size cod and Pollock between 3 and 5lb and loads of mackerel, but when we got out again on our 3 hour trip the wind and tide were in the same direction and we were drifting to fast so we ended up anchoring up and bait fishing which produce a few nice fish. Being a belting week on the cod on sea-otter 2 some bonny fish the best this week went over 18lb for local angler chris mangan a personal best for chris but there also been stacks of doubles as well so a great week here at whitby on sea-otter 2.

North Yorkshire Coastline sea swim.
Skylark was used as a passenger and safety vessel by the Kingfishers sea swimming club.
the first leg started from Staithes and the swimmers swam for 1/2 hour intervals as part of a relay.
in the first day the swimmers managed to cover 17.2 miles in 8 1/2 hours.
unfortunately due to weather and sea conditions they couldn't continue the swim the second day and continued the swim 2 weeks later.
the swimmers worked hard even with jelly fish brushing over them.
in total they swam the North Yorkshire Boundary, Staithes to Speeton in 17hrs 18mins 19secs View Boats Page

The run of good Cod continues for us on Mistress, Mark Wilky a regular angler with us, caught a couple of crackers yesterday, both into double figures, he also took a nice double figure ling earlier in the day too.
The fishing was hard work due to the breeze but we managed to find a few better fish for the lads.
