Report on-board Mistress
We put a bit of a red eye special in yesterday, doing 2 trips before we break up for Christmas.
The lads had two blinding trips, the day trip produced what must have been 80-90 cod with the throw backs, the biggest tipping the scales just shy of 7lb.
The night trip saw us boat 40-50 cod to 5.5lb-6lb with throw backs.
I'd like the opportunity to wish all my customers old and new a very merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2020!

Another excellent days fishing yesterday on Sea-Otter 2 stacks of cod hitting the deck .
Had a group of lads up from London what an opener they had most of lads had into teens of fish and plenty returned.
Not at sea this week back at next Sunday still a few spaces available if your quick .

Its been a good week for us here at Whitby, it fished well on the bigger tides, tailing off a bit as the tides eased.
Even on the slacker tides we managed around 50 codlings between the few anglers we had onboard.
Among the fish we've seem some cracking fish into double figures, with a good few 4-5lbers every day too.
We're going to be fishing upto and through the Christmas break. If we get enough interest and suitable weather I'll be running some night trips too. Trips are £5 per person per hour.

Steady days fishing yesterday, fish were a bit hard to find first thing while the flood tide was running but when the ebb came through fishing picked up well with fish ranging from 2-4 pound and a few 5-6 pound so all in all the 5 lads had a nice steady trip we have a trip going on Monday with 6 places still available weather permiting then we will be available on the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th to round the year off so if you fancy a trip just give me a call on 07721670810 thanks shaun Alliance charters

It’s been a while since our update but the uptide/ downtide season is well underway.
The winter season so far has been blighted by the weather severely limiting our days at sea. When we have got out the fishing has been really good with some trips seeing 100 plus codlings coming over the rails upto 9lb 10oz and a cracking stamp of 5lb fish, with the usual unwashed squid and black lug baits doing the damage on the pennel rigs. We have plenty of availability in the run upto Christmas and into the new year and with our winter prices been very low over this period and with great catch rates you don’t want to miss out. The 2020 diary is now also open for wreck ,reef and ground , species and tailor made trips to suit everybody’s needs. For more info or to book a trip contact barry on

Well what a days uptiding the boy’s from London had on Sea-Otter 2 yesterday first thing one of the lads got a cracking cod ounces under 10 lb then his mate at the end of the day also got a cod more or Less once’s of each other and they boated many other fish as well .
The weather was a very cold winters day but the lads kept warm with all the action weather looking good next week spaces available tel 07748795695 .
