Set off this morning(13th May) with 4 lads from Leicester.Went first to a mark near North Smethick buoy where we had some decent whiting but in a heavy swell. Went then round Flamborough Head and in only a slight swell had a good show of codling and small coley.A good day enjoyed by customers and crew.

Steamed out on a 6 hour trip today 25th of April 2014. With Michael Gaicki and his four Polish colleagues from Bradford.
We were catching fish from start to finish. Totalling about 50 to 60 kilos of fish.

A very successful week in the Bridlington sea fishing week competion for the HEIDI J, winning the BIGGEST fish of the week, also BiIGGEST fish 4 of the five days, also catching the BIGGEST 2 fish of the week ling up to 8 kilos,17 and a half pound, also BIGGEST pollock/billet, and flat fish of the week repeating the success of 2011 winning four days out of five also,with the BIGGEST fish of the week and winning 4 of the five days.

Paul Chapman's boat "Yorkshire Lass II" was fully booked for a short session for first time anglers plus a few experienced anglers.
For Paul and his mate nothing was too much trouble. Four lads used the boat fishing gear and after a couple of lessons from Paul and his mate they weren't disappointed.
Paul placed us on top of fish right from the beginning and beginners caught fish straight-away - it was a brilliant day this coupled with brilliant weather meant a great day.
The boat allowed all anglers bags of room meaning very few tangles. We had caught several species and everyone on the boat caught fish and all went home very happy and eager to try boat fishing again. We highly recommend Paul his mate and boat to anyone as a great boat fishing day out.

Had a group of eight anglers & three individuals for an 8 hour trip today. Halfway through the trip they all agreed to try something different for the last 2 hours. At 2pm we headed back inshore & put the anchor down with the intention of targeting thornbacks. 2 came to the boat straight away & after a 20 minute wait another 15 were boated. Considering the lads didn't realise you could catch thornbacks from Bridlington they had an excellent trip
with the best one weighing in at 13lb 12oz.

well was a bit of a struggle today with the wind freshening from the south but the mixed party we had onboard just perserverd and worked hard to make the best of the day and it payed of for some of them with some realy nice cod coming to the boat our best being 18lb3oz

Took my Nephew out for a 3 hrs mackerel trip paul put us Straight on to the fish and everyone on board bagged up we finished with over 600 between us! filled freezer up with pike baits for winter and spring fishing
and had enough left for all family and freinds to have a taste
