We have over 30 years exerience angling in the Plymouth Sea Area . We also cater for Research Projects (especially tagging and fish monitoring) and have been involved in considerable number of missions involving specialised photographic work and filming. This vessel is operated by Miragecharters UK Ltd.

I've fished in a lot of places and this was one of the best trips ever! I don't know how many charters I've been on where they oversold and under delivered but Mirage totally delivered. Of 5 anglers we caught 1 Conger, 1 Cod, 1 Whiting, a couple of Gurnard's, some other fish I can't even remember and 40-50 very good size Pollock.
If you're interested in seeing what the sea has to offer and bringing home supper tonight and many nights to come, Mirage is genuinely the 'go to charter' in and around the Plymouth area. Dave and Tony were superb in their knowledge of techniques and fishing marks. They are genuinely great guys and helpful in every way to ensure you have an enjoyable and productive time fishing.

A brilliant service from point of first contact all the way to the end of the day. Fantastic communication explaining all aspects of the experience and a wealth of knowledge for making the day as successful as possible. A well kept boat with good facilities makes the whole trip value for money and i will be making another booking asap.

Boat kept in great condition, run by amazingly knowledgeable skipper and crew who both worked tirelessly to provide a first rate days fishing. Nothing was too much trouble for the crew who helped with tackle choice and fishing methods, unhooking, catch care and frequent tea or coffee whilst the skipper worked hard to find productive marks. I was unable to find fault with anything during the day and I am indebted to Dave and Tony for giving me the best charter boat experience ever.

Thursday 6th June 2019 from the moment we stepped onto Mirage to the end of the day we had a wonderful trip with Dave and Ian the perfect skipper and crew the banter was great coffee flowed all day and fish were caught on every mark from the first drift to the last we will definitely be going back out on Mirage Colin & Richard

What a fantastic day! Dave and Simon were very knowledgeable as well as being great fun. 7 sharks for the day which for a bunch of newbies is a cracking result. Thanks Guys (we will be back and next time I'm bringing a fly rod)!

Considering it was so late in the season (Sunday 7th July) we had a fabulous day catching an average of ten fish each (Pollack and Ling). Dave is a wonderful Skipper, always finds the marks and always ensures we have a brilliant day. A huge thank you to the Crewman Simon who really looked after us throughout the day. We REALLY did not want the day to stop, it was FABULOUS.
