What a great day out fishing for Bass. My friend Paul and I went the same week last year and we caught a variety of fish including pollock,tope,mackrel and gurnard. This time we fished specifically for sea bass and caught approx 70 fish from 4 rods( about 10 went back in as they were under sized but the best were about 5lb .{Alan was great company and he and his mate Andy worked inceadibly hard all day to locate the fish and do all the unhooking. Had a great day out and the fish we took home were delicious.

Absolutely brilliant day with Alan, he found us the Bass on the drift in lively sea conditions with a number of moves. In the afternoon we moved to quieter waters, plenty of species on board, Bass, Starry Smooth Hound, Dog fish, Scad, Mackerel, Herring, Gurnard Grey and Red. Deposit left for the next trip

ALAN GAVE US THE BEST DAY OF OUR HOLIDAY, WE CAUGHT BASS, DOG FISH, MACKERAL AND GURNER. ALAN IS VERY FRIENDLY, KNEW WHERE TO FIND THE BASS, EVEN TOOK US TO SEE SOME SEALS AND GAVE US COOKING TIPS.

Enjoyed fishing with alan has lots of knowledge on bass fishing we coaught 26 bass on our 5hour trip great guy.

26 bass caught fantastic days fishing thanks to aluns expertise realy enjoyed the day

5 hr trip taken by 6 greenhorns and 2 fishing virgins! got us all straight to it. no shortage of fish, and tight lines, a few tangles and lots of patience from the crew caught more than enough to feed ourselves and half the camp site!!! brilliant day out had by all thanks to Allen and Jack, but Jacks tea making skills need work xxx

My brother and son joinned me on a five hour trip. We asked if we could target bass and Alan certainly found them for us. A really enjoyable trip with an experienced and helpful skipper and mate. I'm looking forward to my next trip on the Hooker.
