We booked the 3hr trip for a family of
4. It was a bit delayed heading out but we weren’t disappointed. We shared the boat with 6 others and Nick kept us all informed. Within 2 mins we caught a fish which was great. It went a little quiet (as is the nature of fishing…no guarantees) so we moved somewhere else. Nick was a great skipper (who also involved with RNLI), and the time flew by. My eldest caught two and my wife (who has no interest in fishing) caught a cod!!!! Nick shared lots of interesting stories and we stayed out longer to give us more chances to catch stuff as well as letting the kids skipper the boat. We LOVED it. Thanks to Nick!!!

Great 6 hour trip on skylark. Nice to fish different ground to the Whitby charters. The tides were massive and most charters weren't sailing but Nick managed to put on a good trip on rough ground due to his great knowledge of the area. Great to see and catch some great fish so close to shore. It was slow at times on this particular day but luckily I got the lion's share and Nick sorted me out with some lovely fillets to take home.

He is a top skipper and always on form. Thanks again for a great day Nick.

Brilliant trip out with the Skylark, the skipper nick assisted us all day ran around the boat with new tackle and the net. Very energetic and knowledgeable skipper who is a absolute gent. Even better when he volunteers for the local lifeboat all of you volunteers are heros giving your free time up to help others

Another fantastic day on the Skylark.

This was my first trip this year with nick, what a top man he is. Friendly, always ready with advice and so helpful. If anyone is looking to go with scarborough's top skipper look no further than skylark. He never stopped trying to get us on the fish and its really important to him that people enjoy their time and maximise their catches. Thanks again.

Brilliant trip on the skylark feom Scarborough. The skipper was polite and was there as soon as we needed him for help throughout the trip.

The fishing was unreal with decent size fish coming up from all over the boat.
