Onboard: Phosphorescent 'WH1'

Description: hi, went out on phosphorescent out of lymmington for the day on a singles trip,with three others. what a day!. I was told the night before we may try for some light sport and then on for some bass. On the day, we started off catching wrasse,a few nice sized ballans and a small rockling,all fell to small ragworm baits. what seemed like an hour turned out to be two and a half, so we headed off out to some banks ready for the tide. Expecting to put on a portland or a ledger , i opted for the latter. I went in the wheelhouse with my shads etc, expecting him to pick one out and say,that bad boy. "none, were using ragworm"! Really?........Really Well lol what a day, 6 nice bass for me. (best two in pic), two others had 3s and 4s and sum bloke had 1. I cant believe how well the rag fished, ive fished for bass with it at anchor in a the harbor . And flatfish on the drift,but never for bass in this way. I learnt quite a bit that day,and have since booked some trips up for this year. cant wait awsome. thanks phosphorescent for a truley great day. john
