Fishing Report by Malcolm nightingale
18 May 2024 by Malcolm nightingale
Well flat calm today 18th may, was supposed to have rain most the day off the Dorset coast around poole.
Well we decided to go regardless as the sea would be calm.
Had probably 2 showers in the morning and then the sun came out.
Firstly we went and fished for mackerel for fresh bait, after getting more than enough and some for the table we headed off to find the Bass. Couldn't go wrong today as the bass nailed the live baits.
Well lets see what tomorrow holds as hopefully same as today but as they say no day is the same.
Well fished to my crew and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
My two keepers for the table and family.

Fishing Report by Malcolm nightingale
22 Jan 2023 by Malcolm nightingale
Well not a bad day on Chopsea charters with a gentle south easterly wind and bitterly cold, the regular crew done very well to be fair and as these guys generally fish catch and release, 95% of the fish got returned.
Nothing huge but apart from the last hour the catch rate was good all day to keep everyone occupied.
Total fish landed was 73
Mostly whiting and dogfish, small eyed ray, a pout ,few poor cod and a decent plaice.
Well done boys.
See you next time
Malcolm
