    Report on-board Mistress

Ive been meaning to drop an update onto our page from the Whitby Charter Skippers Association - R.N.L.I charity boat angling competition on 09/06/2019

We'd had a tough day on our charter, so no one was more surprised than me when I followed a hunch and it really paid off for us. We fished just one wreck on the evening and it was non stop the whole time with 3 or 4 rods in every drift.

    Heaviest fish winner
    Ian Buckingham-Colby Newton-11lb-05oz-Ling-Mistress

    Ladies winner
    Kelly Gillings-Middlesbrough-04lb-05 1/2oz-Cod-Mistress

    Junior winner
    Nate Garrett-Whitby-05lb-05oz-Ling-Mistress

Presentation held at the Fleece pub Church street Whitby.

£811 was raised for the Whitby R.N.L.I (£620 from the boat entry fees and £191 from the raffle)

A massive thank you to all the anglers and the other charter skippers who took part and of course our weigh masters Bernard Vasey and James Hewitson

Also Carla Smith landlady at yhe Fleece on Church street Whitby, for the food and the use of the venue

We have spaces in ghe upcoming summer festival still, unfortunately the weekends are full now, if youre unsure of availability of want to book on with us, give me a call on 07977 436903

    Tight lines Rich
