    Report on-board Shy-Torque III

    Yesterday’s team, Jamie Guttridge and his mates from Posketts of Goole were treat to a “flat calmer” with cracking sunshine all day. Hot too!!

    We started off on a tiny bit of scrap just 3 miles East of Whitby for just 4 fish.
    A slight move in towards shore to a tiny bit of ground produced around a dozen Codling, some of those tids and chuck backs.

    Another move out to more reef/ground marks on the 6-7 mile where the lads had a few half decent drifts with more Codling and Haddock for the boxes.

    At slack water we jumped on to a small wreck for very little. Just four fish fish boated so back to ground if was.

    After the change of tide the lads boated just a half dozen more fish until the alarm rang for home.
    Total tally for the day, around 40 fish. No big fish but lots of sport on the Shad and baited rigs.

    The day started with superb banter and it carried on for 9 hours until we docked!!
    A brilliant day for all of us!
