    Report on-board Shy-Torque III

    Great to be back on the water yesterday for a days inshore anchor fishing.

    We settled into position for 08.00hrs and stayed in the same spot all day. No moves needed at all.

    The fishing wasn’t hectic by any shout but after watching a couple of the other boats moving up and down, in and out, we decided that the odd little flurry of fish that we were getting were worth hanging around for.

    Picking a few up across slack water was encouraging for the lads too and on the change of tide into the flood, the Codling were on the feed again.

    As I said, nothing startling but enough boated to keep the five guys happy.

    Tally for the day, around forty fish boated with the usual chuck backs, Dogs etc..

    Best Codling just under 4.5lb but nice and chunky with good meaty shoulders.

    Just one place left now for tomorrow’s session if you fancy a run out.
