Weather still cold with these North westerly winds, but mackerel shoals increasing daily although the herring and sprat are also being caught, still some good whiting caught on baited feather.
Thornbacks and blondes now moving on to the banks with large quantity's of Bull Huss over the rougher ground. Bass up to 5lbs now being caught in the tide runs, the early Tope should alsostart to show in the shallower water as they come in to breed.
High winds after tomorrow might put an end to deep marks for the next few days but will continue to fish the bays and sheltered waters. Eel tanks now maturing will soon be tripping with live bait as the bass start to show on the reefs.
