    Report on-board Flamer IV

APRIL 2012 FLAMER IV REPORT - During April the weather was quite unsettled at times but during the month some excellent fish were caught. The Flatty fishing for Turbot,Brill and Plaice was consistant with plenty of Personal bests being achieved.
The inshore reefs were good for Blonde and Undulate rays along with some excellent Spurdogs.Jenny Foley landing the biggest Spur at 18Ib.The wrecks produced Pollack,Ling and Cod.Cod also appeared on the inshore marks as well.A few Mackerel have also started to show along with some Herrings. So far 26 different species have been caught on Flamer IV in 2012.Flamer IV Fish of the Month for April was a hard one to call with so many good fish being entered but was awarded to Derek Inwood for his excellent 21b Turbot(pictured).
During the next couple of months different species will arrive such as Bream,Bass,Tope, and the Cod fishing on the wrecks should get better. The flatty fishing and reef fishing will still be good.SO DON'T MISS OUT - BOOK YOUR TRIP/S and/or PLACE/S.
