    Report on-board Flamer IV

At last some nice weather. The reefs/banks produced some early Black Bream along with Bull Huss ,Congers, Rays and Tope. Bass from the shambles bank and Portland race area. A few Turbot up to 15Ib and the odd Brill from the Shambles Bank. First West Country Trip of the year was done with a variety of species being caught and of course the social side was as good as ever. The wrecking was ok for Ling, Conger, Pollack, Bass, but only the occasional Cod. Species count now 42 for 2006. The Army Angling Championships were fished on the last two days of the month and Flamer III was Top Boat with most points. Flamer III June fish of the Month is Rob Portbury with a 10Ib Bass he caught on the Shambles Bank.
