    Report on-board Flamer IV

JUNE 2012 - The Reef fishing is very good and producing lots of different species like Bull Huss,Black Bream,Tope,Smooth Hounds,Conger,Rays,Cod etc.A recent trip saw David Lockwood from Leeds,Yorkshire catch his first ever Tope which weighed 30Ib,the Tope was weighed, photographed and returned alive. The successful bait was a squid and mackerel cocktail mounted on a pennel rig.David is pictured with his Tope.David lost a big fish that took a bait he intended for Bream. With Reef fishing you can put down all sorts of baits, rigs and you are never always sure what species of fish is going to take it next which always keeps Reef fishing interesting.David also caught his first ever Turbot while drifting a bank.
