    Report on-board Supanova II

    Hi All,

Well what weather we have experienced over the last month!

I think March last year lulled us into a false sense of security, relentless easterly wind has put pay to many trips for the whole Weymouth fleet throughout March. It certainly is the worst start to the year I can remember.

The water temperature is about 3-4 degrees colder than normal, combine this with coloured water it has made the inshore fishing a little challenging. The fish are there we just need conditions to improve in our favour Nd I'm sure the plaice and turbot will be hungry!

The wrecking continued to offer all anglers fantastic sport when we could get out there.

The coming month hopefully will offer all you anglers some better weather and in turn offer much improved inshore sport with plaice and turbot top of the list and towards the end of the month maybe an early bream or two.

Wrecking should see continued pollack action, improving ling numbers and the arrival of the first Cod.

Pictured is Charlie Butcher with his PB Plaice landed on one of the nice days last month.

Thanks to all who continue to support Weymouth and Supanova II.

Tight lines to all for the coming month,

    Lyle
