During November we can expect to catch Rays,Cod,Turbot,Brill,Plaice,Bass,Congers,Bream,Whiting, etc. NOVEMBERS first trip was spent at anchor on the Adamant Bank and Lots of Congers and an Undulate Ray were caught along with Whiting,Pout,Dogs and Poor Cod. Mark Laker from Kent caught his first ever Conger and Undulate Ray.Mark is pictured with his 14Ib Undulate Ray which was returned alive. Mark was using a Shakespear 20Ib class rod with a flowing trace and pennel rig of Sakuma 6/0 and 4/0 hooks baited up with a cocktail of Ammo Squid and Mackerel. WINTER FISHING - DECEMBER/JANUARY/FEBRUARY - As we get into Winter the Big Whiting will show along with some Big Cod. The Reefs and Banks will also produce Blonde and Undulate Rays,Conger and Bull Huss.The Winter Months is certainly the time for Big Pollack will be on the wrecks.
