    Report on-board Flamer IV

BLONDES R'US - a morning session at anchor produced a hectic time with blonde rays and two bonus turbot.Dodgey Dave Barton started it all of by losing what could only have been a big blonde, they certainly hang on in the tide and test your tackle to the full,he later made amends catching blonde rays of 21Ib and 19Ib 8oz.Wayne Frapple joined in with blondes of 13 and 18Ib.Peter Collings landed a 15Ib blonde followed by his first ever turbot weighing 9Ib.Not to be out done Peters dad Andy landed a 20Ib blonde and his first ever turbot which weighed 6Ib 8oz.The Irish contingent in Donald and Billy weighed in with four blondes up to 19Ib.A few other smaller blondes were caught before all to soon the tide picked up and with the wind increasing it was time to move from the mark. All the blonde rays were returned back alive.I must mention Paul Milkins who must have wondered what was going on as he was the only one not to get a blonde.Dodgey Dave Barton is pictured with his 21Ib blonde. The successful bait for all the fish was Ammo squid and fresh mackerel fillet cocktails mounted on pennel rigs.
