The fishing should be spectacular now off the coast of Ramsgate, all through the months of January, February, March and April. The cod fishing will be superb. The herring and sprat Scholes have now moved offshore. So with the cod putting on extra weight feeding on these, the fish should be much larger than last year. Averaging the 6-8lb bracket and definitely a chance of a large double. With this and the skate fishing on the Goodwins where we have seen fish up to 15lb. And over 25 fish a trip. It really should be a bumper few months. Remember all my trips include equipment and some baits and I can supply lug worm onboard so no need to worry about baits on any trip.
