JACKPOT! JACKPOT!
today after steaming15mins from the harbour and only 10 mins fishing,jonathon hooked and landed(105mins) a common skate.
it was 7ft 3" long...5ft9"wide ...8.5" thick
using orkney skate trust data(with 5% deviation) it was registered between 192-202lb in weight
