    Report on-board High Flyer 2

Well its end of the month again hopefully the fishing improving in june should see some early mackerel bit offshore now , our first tope trip on 18th so looking forward to that. Been catching few skate as you can see, spotty dogs about pain at times but there fish! Only small smoothounds for us lately the biggies should start making an appearance shortly great sport. Our bass ban is still on this month so i havent bothered fishing for them as it seems just to cause trouble under no circumstances will we be bringing any back unfortunately some people think their above the law, it is there for our future good. Weather and winds have been stupid again just unbelievable hope they disappear soon getting ridiculous north east 30 mph doesnt give anyone a chance to get out.

My picture this report is to celebrate the life of Jeff Bishop who sadly passed away this month ex Yarmouth skipper known to many also worked the pilot boats, was a good friend to me who helped me out alot when i first came to Yarmouth for which i am very gratefull. He will be sorley missed , never forgot, and often remembered i,m sure, our condolences to all his family his funeral on 10th June at Gorleston Crematorian anyone wanting more details please ring. Tight lines up there jeff, your words of wisdom always ringing in my ears, Theres Anglers and Danglers and your not a Angler! Rest easy old friend come join one day.

    Jon (High Flyer)
