    Report on-board TROT- ON

    Friday saw us out with a crew of 7 anglers, The first stop was on the ground at the 5 mile mark. This produced Coddling , Strap Ling and Whiting falling mainly to squid bait.
    We then moved onto a wreck and started to pick up a better stamp of Coddlings as well as bigger Ling averaging around 5 -6 lb along with the pesky Pouting who as usual were pecking at the bait.
    Baited Hookki's started to pick a few Mackeral up which were of a good pan size, Trot On regulars "Big Andy" Pendleberry and previous W.C.S.A festival winner Dave Makings were getting best results with bait and had approx 20 fish between them, However it was another angler who took the boat sweep with a nice plump Cod of around 8lb. caught on a shad.
