Report on-board Pegasus
Winter has finally arrived as far as Boat fishing is concerned in Lyme Bay on the Inshore trips the Bream have finally moved on although we were still catching lots of good sized fish right up until the end of November. Channel whiting have moved in, in numbers, to replace them with lots of fish being caught in the 2lb bracket. A few thornback and undulates rays and plenty of dogfish also coming to the boat. We even had a spurdog of 16lb only a couple of miles from Lyme Regis which is a first for me!

Offshore anchoring is producing a few Blonde Rays on the banks and Spurdogs, Huss, Conger and Undulate Rays on the rougher ground.
Wrecking has been great so far in December with lots of fit and healthy hard fighting Pollack coming to the Net up to 17lb and the occasional Bass up to 7lb.
We will be continuing right through winter Wrecking for Pollack, Inshore for whiting, Rays, Conger, Huss and the odd Cod and Offshore grounds on the neap tides for Spurdogs, Rays, Conger and Huss.
