Great day on the river today. 25 thornback rays averaging 5lb. Birthday boy Andy won the biggest fish competition with his 8lb thornback ray. Only other species caught today was a solitary 4lb cod and decent sized whiting.
Full boat tomorrow and 5 spaces for Sunday. -

First trip out of the river today. And found the kennel doggies everywhere lots of dabs a ray and as alllways whiting.

Only a short trip today however what a great mornings fishing. The anglers lines had barely got wet when the first and biggest ray was hauled in followed by at least 6 more over the 4hour trip. Also caught 4 3lb+ codling. A couple of dabs and the biggest flounder I have seen. Last but not least ever present whiting.

Slow on the river today. 10 codling of varying sizes, the biggest was 4.5lbs. Some dabs and as always whiting. First thornback ray on board 7.5lb.
We are out again 18th for an early start 03:30 back at approx 13:30 8 spaces available and Sunday 19th for a 4 hour trip 13:00 to return 16:45 10 spaces available. -

Early start today on wave dancer.
8 onboard today saw 20+ cod caught plus the inevitable whiting and flatties. -

4 hour trip today. This was a challenging trip as we had a 14th birthday party on board today.
Once the excitement had calmed down and the boys had listen to there first baiting,fishing lesson and got past idea of putting a worm or squid head on a hook they dropped there weights and patiently waited for something to happen. Thankfully A line went tight and a decent size whiting was landed.
The next 4 hours saw a steady stream of whiting cod and dabs were landed. The boys had a great day although providing free fizzy drinks and sweets was maybe not the best idea.
The birthday boys cousin scarlet joined the party and beat al the boys and adults to win the first fish competition with a small whiting. Josh said he had a great birthday on board but was a bit sad as he and his dad blanked. -

Well another awesome day again on Wave Dancer!! Many cod caught by all in a short trip due too the tides!!

Another cold start to the day again we had a boat full of builders onboard today who drank the most tea and coffee I have ever served on the boat before. Another great day for Whiting, cod a bit slow at first but plenty were caught by the end of the trip.
We have spaces available Saturday and Sunday. Leaving Saturday approx 12:00 to return approx 21:30.
And a short 4 hour trip planned for Sunday 09:30 to return approx 14:15.
