JFK TWO 20th august
A LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY
well another very good day on the wrecks. with a really nice stamp of cod coming aboard 4-8lbs. also nice lings just into double figures.
and one of those days when the pollack made a good apperance with dave taking 5 pollack himself
sunny was best angler taking around 10 fish and after his mistake a couple of trips back of not going into the sweep and then landing a 19lbs ling
was first with his money in the sweep cup.
just as well as he said ave got another cracking fish on here . yep after a good good tussle up pops a lovely 18.5lbs of super fit ling
a lesson learned well done sunny -

JFK TWO
14th AND 15TH AUG
another ok weekend with tog and the lads up from barnsley on sat with a fairly windy day making the drifts fast. but top marks to the lads
who perseved and it paid of with a nice stamp of fish coming aboard cod 4-6lbs and a couple of ling into double figures
sunday brought a much nicer day with flats seas and very gentle winds. making the drifts spot on
so we picked away at most stops and alan black taking full advantage bagging himself over 10 fish
and also a few over 10lbs and the best of the day a nice ling of 15lbs top angler well done alan -

another red letter day for one of our regulars on JFK-TWO for mark gilmore and his wife christine who pop over from carlisle almost every week and on her last trip, christine
was whopping all the lads landing around 6 fish before anyone else had a look in.
think this time mark was determinded to restore some pride for the lads. the fairly strong northerly wind did make the fishing fairly hard going at times but we did pick away
all day. but nothing bigger than 8lbs . eventually the wind and swell eased game on first drift colin pulls in a lovely 16lbs ling. and says thats nailed the sweep today
next drift mark had other ideas. his rod doubles over and thers no doubt something decents on his rod and certainly isnt happy
colin is now looking worried and with good reason, up pops a cracking 23lbs ling
well done mark and well deserved

JFK-TWO 8th july
yet another very canny days fishing on JFK-TWO with kevin and terrry joining us. traveling up from bradford, the weather was brilliant
again we picked up fish from all of our stops. with decent cod and lings coming up both just short of double figures
so still all to play as far as the days sweep was panning out with so many fish all about the same stamp
kevins rod starts to double over and a fish says i dont want to come up.
but after a tussle up pops a lovely ling again just short of 20 pounds
very nice fish kevin well worth that early start.

sat 3rd july
well another excellent days fishing on JFK TWO
with plenty double figure lings taken, 12lbs- 14lbs range and davy again with a topper ling 21lbs plus
with both davy and darren losing count of there fish once both of them were into double figures
paul also chipped in with some nice lings and a lovely wolfish at 9lbs also cod to 9lbs
and stacks of mackrel for both bait and the table
all in all was a spot on days fishing -

monday 28th june 2021
well weather was perfect again today flat seas and warm and sunny lovely day. fishing was not bad either.
from being hundres of mackrel to being very hard to find again today. but a good start with cod and some big
coalies coming aboard straight away and only a couple of macs
we were hoping for more as we knew later we would be visiting some good ling wrecks.
and you cant beat some lovely fresh mackrel for bait
anyway picked up fish at most stops cod and some lings
working are way to where we really wanted to be. and said to everybody use the few mackrel weve caught so far
as this ones got some nice lings on it
sure enougth sonnys into a nice hard fighting fish. was a lovely ling touching 19lbs lovely fish
said sonny you in the sweep NO says sonny. first time he didnt go in

well look whos been out on JFK-TWO this week no other than ROBSON GREEN himself
and as well as being a smashing down to earth geordie lad hes a very canny angler
who LOVES his fishing and promotes the north east when ever he can
PROMISED we wouldnt say anything about how the fishing was until after
his progamme
so if you want to know youll have to watch his show on channel 5 in sept

another belting day with a lot of cod in 5-6-7 pounds range landed. best over 10 pounds for keith.plenty fish coming in
and again about 6 MACKREL taken. still proving wery patchy, paul had himself another cracking days fishing, stealing the sweep with a nice ling at 12.5lbs
so with fish everywhere we stopped and we even had dolphins playing with the boat for a good while
and as usual darren help himself to another cracking bag of fish pic
so all in all highly enjoyable day out -

JFK-TWO
sat 12th june well the fishing at the moment this week has been spot on. with a nice stamp of cod a lot in the
5-6-8pounds range being taken and the odd double figure cod, and the weather has been really cooperative
we even had a good few lovely big MACKREL today
most anglers taken 10 to 15 fish each some even better. prawns squid and mackrel baits nailing most of the fish
and a good few falling to the shads as well

with both ling and cod into double figures. darren again having well over 40 odd fish himself
best baits prawns and squid
