friday 14th may
canny day out weather eventually playing ball. picking a steady few cod up at most stops. with signs of a nicer stamp of fish showing through.
as well as the odd ling. with a nice slow drift and little wind all day
the sun even making a appearance for a while
we also had a lovely display of bottlenose dolphins jumping alongside the boat. whilst the cod were still coming aboard.

the weather latterly has been unbelievable for may
with rain and snow and scraping car windows most mornings dirty stirred up water with almost continuous northerly swells making trip's out very limited
however we are managing about 20 -40 fish per trip
most fish in the 1.5lbs to 2.5lbs the occasional better fish
but we really need some settled summer weather pronto
