fri 6th
this week has seen good steady fishing with typically 40 to 60 fish per trip. fish in the 4-6lbs range. with better fish showing up as well
with cod to 17.5lbs lings again to 15 and 16lbs. also some lovely pollack typically around 6lbs but odd one topping 10 to 11 lbs -

friday 31st july
was a choppy old day but thats the beauty of a big cat it didn't stop us fishing. and it didn't stop our regular angler Stuart popping over from Carlisle and winkling out this superb ling of 19.25lbs
beating his previous PB
well done Stuart. ended up a canny day with a good few nice cods upto 8.5lbs taken also about 6 fighting fit pollack taken all around 5-6 lbs
all in all a canny day -

been a very canny weeks fishing. with some very nice fish being taken. with both cod and ling into double figures each dfay
with around 40 -50 fish each day
and even with todays windy conditions russ managed this nice ling of 16.5lbs -

the last few days have seen the fishing being really steady with 50 -60 fish each day plenty into double figures both cod and ling. and lings 14 lbs and 16.5lbs -

fishing 4th july
had the lads up from the black swan chesterfield.
turned out a canny day with around 80 fish, probably around 8-10 fish into double figures both cod and ling. davy again putting his jfk reel to good use
taken around 18 fish him self also the best on the day on 13lbs. all in all a cracking day -

another lovely day. especially for davy and his new reel, earlier davy picked up his new reel and said ill have to break this in.
he wasn't kidding banging into some belter ling including these two beauties 18.5lbs and 17.25lbs
we also had cod to 9lbs and more ling into double figures. and a good few cod -

out today with our second prize winner scott
turned out another cracking day with practically non stop action. mostly pansized cod but a good few 4-6lbs cod
taken both on shads and baits, topped by darrens cod of over 10lbs
