wed 20th may
out today with our prize draw winner jake braid, we had a cracking days fishing. with cod coming in 2 at a time on some marks. jake having the time of his life with all of the back of the boat to himself
having around an incredible 30 square meters of deck space to himself.
with crewman colin fishing up the front starboard side. both of them banging in the fish every drift. I even had a few goes myself brilliant fun with both bait and shads nailing the fish.
with around 70 cod most in the 3-5lbs range nice stamp of fish and a few cod over 8lbs and ling also upto 8lbs
cant wait to take out our next winner

hi all
just for a update hopefully boris shortly allows some relaxation of the current lockdown. which hopefully should allow us to get fishing again in some shape or form possibly with reduced numbers to allow
for social distancing. so we will be ready to go as soon as there's any sign of a green light. fingers crossed for something positive on sunday.
will update all again either sunday night or Monday when we digest whats said sunday

Sunday 23rd
wet and windy priorities first, step onboard wheelhouse diesel heater on. wheelhouse toastie warm lovely. off and pick the lads up, kettle on
out the piers and not a bad day just a little nippy on hands [not in the wheelhouse]
a few mile up the coast anchors away. fish on after only 2-3 minutes canny cod 3lbs mark nice start. steady stream of fish after that. also a nice stamp of fish mostly 2-2.5lbs mark odd better one 4-5lbs
pleasant surprise as almost all fish are canny keepers very few throw backs. steady fishing for the next 4 hrs
coning up to bottom tide eventually fishing slowed off.
said ill start the engines and warm them up for 5 minutes then we will shove further on again. engines started rods bang bang bang 4-5 fish coming in best cod of the day 6lbs as well . engines stopped
fished steady again for next hour.
ended up a cracking day with over 60 keepers upto 6lbs pic of davy showing stamp of fish

another break in the weather gave us another nice day out with seas as nice as any day in the summer. was a little slow in the morning. but a much better afternoon with a good few
cod between 4lbs and 6lbs

sat 8th dec
mostly at anchor today. was just nice to get out after all this crappy weather latterly. 3 minutes after the anchor went in 3 or 4 fish straight on. then a big bull seal showed up and bites dried up
picked slowly away most of the day but with the small tides giving very little tide pull. turned out a slow day. with a lot of small fish about
there was a few nice cod in the 4-5lbs mark. also 4 ballan wrasse taken around the 3-4lbs mark. had a load of these the last couple of years and you only used to see them in the summer months
now all year round

mon 23rd
another canny day with Simon and his lads over from Leeds for the day. turned out a very steady day with lovely lings a good few into double figures. best 16lbs.
and some nice cod around 10lbs as well again the best a cracking 15lbs cod for rob.
still plenty mackerel to be had. and a few pollack also taken -

Thursday 12th sept
after all the crap weather laterly it was just nice to get back out again, and straight back into the fish first stop for mackerel had to work a little for them. but any amount in the end
then it fished steady all day with first wreck giving up to lovely cod over 10lbs for Geordie and Michael
fish from all marks, nice stamp of lovely clean fish. finishing with over 60 odd fish taken mostly cod
a few ling and pollack also taken
