Mental cod fishing on sea otter 2 shads are dynomite mega cod fishing here at Whitby here is a shot of the best cod from today haul mega haul .

The awesome cod fishing here at whitby continuies the offshore wrecks have been superb of late its been a bumper year here at whitby on the cod and the winter uptiding looks like its going to be awesome .
These hits the jackpot fantastiv fishing and lovelly weather what a combination you could ask for more here they are with just a few of there catch no buying cod for long long time .
The Uptiding festival kicks off on the 7th November till the 22nd with a top prize of £1000 to the angler with the biggist cod there is around £3000 in cash prizes on offer if you fancy a crack give me a call . -

Had andys team on from the west coast and what a day they had one man smashed his personal best cod by a mile the lads couldnt thank me enough for there day cod and ling were jumping aboard .
A belting cod of 18lb for this man well done the lads have allready booked there next trip on Sea-Otter 2 .

Sea-Otter 2 just missed out winning the WCSA late sumner festival by ounces we had a 21 lb 1 oz ling the winning fish was 21lb 10 oz still a great result and a personal best les who just missed out some excellent fishing to come .
The Whitby sea anglers Upting festival on 7 th November - 22nd November some excellent prizes on. Off around £3000 in cash .

Today is the last day of late summer festival here at Whitby stacks of cod and ling for lads again yesterday here is Gary jones with a nice double figure cod some real quality fish showing cod and ling .

Had full crew aboard yesterday and they had a ball some very good fishing on the inshore wrecks the lads had stacks of cod between 4-8 lb a really nice stamp of fish and plenty of lings as well plus nice few pollock .
The tides are now on there way down so it's looking like some very good fishing on the cards some excellent sport in prospect .

Thosed bigger lings are now showing there hand had this one over 17 lb yesterday Plus a16 lb ling the day before many round 10-12 lb every chance Of a 20lb + ling as the tides drop away .
Mat gets 3 rd in the festival daily with his 17 lb ling . -

Another red letter day for the boys on Sea Otter 2 paul bradshaws trip his party had some awesome fishing the lads hammered the cod in just a couple of hours it was time to call it a day the lads had caught enough these boys haven't seen cod fishing as good as this there eyes were well and truelly opened.
Here are the lads with just a few of there fish they returned i dont know how many but there freezers are now well and truelly stocked with prime cod fillets . -

The cod fishing here at Whitby continues to throw out some very nice fish indeed double figure cod most days and stacks of fish between 3-7 lb all on shads .
The winter Uptiding looks like it's going to very good indeed a lot of quality fish will come tight inshore in droves .
Another lovely fish for this man plus he had many more not as big but a lot around the 6 lb mark . -

The double figure cod just keep coming on Sea-Otter 2 over the last week we have had into teens had the 58lb British Cod Record holder Noël Cooke onboard over the weekend his party booked the boat for 2 days and what a 2 days fishing the lads had .
Stacks of cod between 4-7 lb plus a nice few doubles and it was noël who does his usual thing by nailing the big ones he had 2 double figure cod himself the best 15 lb the lads have allready booked there 2 days fishing again on Sea-Otter 2 for next year .
Here is noël British cod record holder with not quite the 58lb cod but a lovely fish of 15 lb
