Wednesday i had dave and jim onboard from boat fishing monthly covering the uptiding competition jim got the best any other species last year with an 19lb ling jim didnt manage it this year but dave got right amoung the fish and nailed some cracking fish a lot 5-6 range but it was steve hoyle from scarborough who just kepting banging them out steve took the biggist bag on the day with 44lb and just missed out on the daily prize .

Yesterday the fishing was just the same i stayed in same area over the last 2 days where i know the stamp of fish is genrally bigger and the perciference payed off in the end simon glenn got his reawards with his 13lb cod a lovelly looking cod and on the top big fish bait squid as i have seen so many times over the years squid allways gets the big one cart nails fish after fish and love it myself but those lunkers love the squid a very well done simon but as in any competition its never over till the fat lady sings.
