Saturday2cd May conditions not the best for Tim,Tanya and Neil with a easterly hitting us on the side it was a bit rock and roll but we stuck at it out on the s/holm only 2 rooker both around the 5/6lb mark plagued by spottys, hounds and pin whiting robbing the baits as soon as they were on the bottom, also if any one is fishing in that area and you pull a survaron rod and a greys reel attached can you give me a call iam sure there would be a reward from Neil who lost it over the side to a big rooker or hound 07771926590,Monday4th May forcast giving a bit of a blow later so decided to keep inside today fishing was steady all day with so many spotty dogs, hounds and whiting again i was wondering if we would be lucky in getting some decent for the boys to take home but it didnt let us down only 2 rooker again today with 2 small cod came to the boat with Matt losing a big rooker it never surfaced it bust him off before it rised off the bottom never mind you will be able to have a go for that one some time in the future,Brian

This report covers 24th and 25th April,Friday and conditions were good enough to get off a bit for Ashley and the boys ive been to this mark a few times over the last few weeks with Andrew and with mixed results the best fish resulting in a 12lb Cod,today started with the fishing a bit on the slow side but came on a bit as the tide started to make we finished the day with a nice selection of fish with 4 Bass/2 Cod/and the best fish of the day was a 14lb1oz Rooker this mark allways throughs up some thin g when you least expect it well done all see you soon.Saturday much the same conditions so it was out on the secret mark again with Antony and his mates fishing was slow again with only 1x5lb Cod showing on the back end of the ebb and a load of Spottys that we didn't want,11.00am came with slack water so we had a move inside abit but more Dogs and a few Whiting then Roger got a good pull down on his rod a 10lb9oz Blond what a great finish to the day well done all see you soon BP.

A last minute call as the weather had a bit of a break in it on Monday30th i left moorings at 10.00am and ran north with a bit of wind against i got the anchor down about 10.30 first job get the kettle on as i was on my own i thought i would have 4 rods out third rod out and i was getting the first one back in a nice Cod 46cms with the kettle whistling i quickly made a cupper but it was cold before i picked it up the fish were coming in steady and at one point 3 rods were knocking at once,as the tide eased they went off the boil a bit so kettle back on and finally got a hot cup of tea,i had a count up how many i had 17 nice fish all between 44-48cms with one Spotty Dog and a small Whiting not bad on just over half the ebb that i fished,i waited till the flood began to run this took a while no tide till 15.45 first hour produced only one Cod and was getting ready to pack up when they came on the feed again i packed up at 17.50 with a total of 26 take home Cod the best going 58cms i gutted on the way back and i was surprised to see that there was not a lot inside them but what i did notice was some of them had a bit of green Lug in them and i was pulling some in they had green Lug on the spikes of the weights from uptide i will have to give that mark another look when iam in that area,BP.

Its been a good week for fishing with conditions spot on for a run out to some of the marks that we haven't been to for a while,Tuesday we had 7 nice sized Cod all between 3-5lb in prime condition,we all so shot our nets for some sprats and Herring a few of each,Thursday i ran straight out to one of my favorite areas and it did not disappoint with some lovely big Whiting showing first before the Cod turned up to feed we finished up with 20 good fish all running between 44cm and 58cm being the best iam sure over the next week we will be in for some big fish as they will follow the Herring in good hunting,BP.

Took Antony's party out on Saturday24th with a big spring running i decided to keep inside of the stanford and go after some Dabs but todays tide was very strong and it was a job to keep baits on the bottom but we did manage to find a few fish an hour before slack then wind picked up so ran into the Claremont as the tide just started to ebb a few more small Whiting and a couple of Dabs, these sprats are certainly keeping all the fish occupied at the moment, see you all again soon,bp

Went with Andrew on his boat Tuesday 13th it was abit snotty to begin with but as the day got on so were the conditions,we found a few fish on our first mark but it was a bit slow with the wind dropping away we ran off to another mark as the tide eased on the ebb the first Cod appeared a fish just over 3lb in great condition then Andrews up tide rod lifted up and started to go down tide we new it was a better fish and it was a cracking fish it came to the net and on the boat at 14lbs and in peak condition 3 more smaller fish came into the boat all around the 3-4lb with a few Dabs and small Whiting,BP.
