Only 1 match on the boat this week,we had the Royal Navy vs the England home nations team in preparation for the home nations in 2 weeks. Very difficult conditions for me in the very strong northerly wind, struggled to get the boat right on the fish Ocean Runner being the bigger boat handle the conditions much better and absolutely smashed it almost trembling my scores on the day. Not that many species due to the manner of the rules and scoring system, however we did have some stunning Bream. Top 3 on each boat Ocean Runner
1st Chris Super Rod Rogers 147
2nd Cliff Newbold 133
3rd John Bellamy 118
Piscary
1st Kev Samson 57
2nd Gary Geoghegan 53
3rd Malcolm Stote 50
On the pleasure side of things this week we have had a mega week, plenty of really nice Bream around still and lots of species, too many to mention but including a bit late first Garfish of the year Flounders! Silver Eels and our second ever Greater Weaver! -
