Had some good trips recently best trip was 72 bass 53 keepers up to 4.5lb. plenty of hounds about bigger ones slowly showing up had them up to 11lb so far skate are still about patchy at times but still showing well. The mackerel are well and truly in had over 150 last trip getting them most trips on the way out the skate bass and tope love it. Tope are showing had the smaller ones this weekend herd report of double figure ones offshore so looking to be a good season book in advance so you don't get disappointed when the time comes thanks skipper mark peters -

The bass fishing has begun with a bang had well over 25 last trip from schoolies up to 7lb. Numbers will increase over the next month making some of the best trips of the year. The rokar are still showing up in big numbers and the hounds have showed up biggest so far is 7lb had a dozen last trip mostly small
but give it a few weeks and the sizes will increase. Mackerel are showing further offshore not to long and they will be about strongly followed by the tope. The trips over may and june will be some of the best as most of the fish move in for a feed up to our advantage thanks

The start to april has been good we had our second bass of the year at 7lb on the 29th march this time of year is when the first of the big bass move in followed by the hounds we had 2 smooth hounds sunday small ones but they showing the ray fishing is fantastic at the moment well over 30 a trip now along with the start of the bass its well worth going wont be long till they all flood in in abundance -

Just a quick update to let you all know fishing is very good at the moment thornbacks have been showing in big numbers average 20 a trip if targeted. The cod are still around inshore fishing well for the 2 to 4 lb fish last trip
Having around 30 fish. offshore few bigger ones from time to time mixing in with the thornbacks the usual whiting and doggies too had the first bass of the season last week only small but a start
