View Boats Page
We were out yesterday and had an excellent day although it was quite breezy.
We had well over 20 spurdogs most over 10lb, plenty of mackerel and whiting, tub gurnard, red gurnard, ballon wrasse
goldsinny wrasse ,big bullhuss to 16lb and pollock to 6lb on the reefs. We also got smashed up by big tope but failed to land one.
All in all an excellent and enjoyable day.
Cheers

Our first day back in Liverpool for the winter season was a fair success, we did manage a couple of Codling to 2 1/2lb which seemed to be a bonus with the current water temperature.
View Boats Page
The rest of the catch made up with loads of whitings and dogs, along with 14 Ray's to 10lb 4oz and a single dab.
A stunning sun set to finish off the day
If you want to get out this winter, fire me a message, we have a few midweek dates left for the season on some great tides

hi fishing still good off amlwch although not much wreck fishing due to weather but inshore still loads of mackerel and plenty of tope spurdogs and huss after them. Many large fish lost with snap outs and tope biting through gear . Good Pollack coalfish and wrasse on reefs when water clear on neap tides. Lets hope we contine to get good weather to carry on fishing . Note cheaper rates for winter fishing which can be quite good cheers Roy

I've finally got round to putting some new catch photos on the site. These are by no means all the pictures we have taken, it's just that I am a bit slow putting them on. We have had many fine fish lately of many species. The Mackerel have been patchy although we did have a 2 1/2 lb one. The fishing is still good and most species are still about and we do a lot with individuals. We have spaces at short notice so please give me a ring. Compare our prices!

I went out with my son on the 21st of August with Carl on Gwen Paul from Conwy. Started a little slow, but when we found the Mackerel, we caught plenty to keep us in bait and for those who wanted to take some home. I really wanted to catch a Tope, but Carl wasn't hopeful. We ended up landing 4 on the boat, ranging from 15lb to a 30lber caught by my son. Lot's of other species, dogs, bull huss and whiting but the Tope were the stars of the trip. Great day out, very good and patient skipper . Would definitely recommend.

Today we boated a fantastic Porbeagle just shy of the 100lb mark, an outstanding battle taking 2hrs 20 minutes on 20lb class Pollack set up, the first to be safely landed and released on a charter boat from Anglesey
A huge achievement for the lads on-board to whom I can only thank for making this happen

Fun day afloat today, after a slow drift the anchor soon picked up for the afternoon with a plentiful amount of huss and small thornbacks.

Some nice tope landed too and a few spitting the hook partway through the fight.

Enjoyable day down the Llyn today, with plenty of rays and huss the mainstay together with a few bream and a good mixture of other species.

Tried for tope and connected with two, sadly one spat the hook and the other steamed off like a rocket, through other lines and after a 10 minute tussle snapped off.
Another good fun day. More photos with this report here http://goangling.co.uk/llyn-adventure/

hi out over weekend plenty of tope about especially on sunday 8 landed with many break outs with larger fish. NOTE tope fishing off amlwch can be caught very close in due to the deep water so windy days can be quite productive . mackerel about but offshore 2 miles. reefs producing wrasse and Pollack if you have ragworms bit too windy for offshore wrecking at the moment due to wind speed but very large Pollack on wrecks this time of the year. wreck fishing with me for 10 hours is very reasonable ring for details
