Hi
View Boats Page
Out yesterday and had a good day. We fished for Mackerel first and found plenty of them at the first mark.
We then went out to some wrecks and had a good few hours catching Pollock and Coley, nothing massive but
plenty of good eaters in the 4lb to 6lb range.
All in all a very enjoyable day with plenty of sunshine too.
Regards

Hi all out on wrecks yesterday . Recent storms clouded the water making fishing difficult . Not up to the usual standard . A few nice fish caught all pollock on the 5 to 8 lbs range. Did quite a few wrecks to get some decent fish. Weather needs to settle down a bit for longer to get better results cheers Roy

Report on-board Ebony May
2022 was another awesome season for the Ebony May. We started catching our first large numbers of Tope from mid May right through to the beginning of July, this coinciding with the arrival of the fist mackerel. Average Tope weighing 35-40lbs with the occasional 45-50lb. June/July were excellent months for Bass and pollack mostly fish 3/4lb. July /August, we did a number of 4hr trips targeting bottom species such as Thornback Ray, Smooth hound, Huss, Bream, Spotted Ray, squid, Bass and Tope. September/October once again proved to be excellent months for bass fishing. Some great sport fishing with lures and live bait. A lot bigger fish being caught, and our largest for those months being 9lb. In all, another excellent season with plenty of fun and good fishing. Really looking forward to 2023!!

Hi Anglers to get to some offshore wrecks yesterday with bit of gap in the weather took a while to find a wreck with decent amount of fish on. We had a lot of snap outs with large fish but managed to catch quite a few to 9lbs. A large shark following 6 lb pollock to the surface nice to see . Will have to have a go for them sometime often attack fish on offshore wrecks. Trips still available if weather and sea conditions ok. Thanks for your custom and Happy Xmas and good fishing Cheers Roy

Hi. Tope still very active off Amlwch port a lot of very good ones bring lost last few days with gear being bitten out . Wrecks still producing some good fish. Pollock Coalfish and Ling with odd cod . Have had to move around a bit this week to get fish not the best but trying to get results eventually . Bigger pollock should be appearing now in next few weeks. Mackerel still plenty full on the neap tides. Cheers Roy
