We have had loads of Mackerel which is unusually early.
Lots of Pollock on the reefs when the water is clear and some good sized wrasse too.
No early Tope yet but plenty of Huss, Dogs and Whiting on the bottom.
We have spaces for a trip Sun 1st May.

2021 was probably one of our best seasons to date ,good numbers of Bass ,Tope and Pollack were caught throughout the year. The Tope arrived early in the middle of April and remained right through until September. The fish averaged 35 to 45lb, although the largest fish we caught was a fish of 60lb.It should be noted that the British shore Tope record was broken this year with a Tope of 82lb .This fish was caught not far from our location in Pembrokeshire. The mackerel arrived in May followed shortly after by the Bass shoals ,plenty of fish being caught on both lures and live baits .The Bass remained right through until October with some good size fish between 5 to 8lb being caught .The Pollack fishing was also excellent ,we were mainly fishing offshore during May/June targeting wrecks and Lundy area with plenty of fish 3 to 5lb mark, with the occasional Coalfish and Cod being landed. In addition to Tope ,Bass and Pollack we also caught other species such as Wray ,Huss ,Smooth hounds .Sharks , Bream and Wrasse .
