Report on-board Incentive
Managed to get a 5 hour session in this morning inbetween weather fronts. The fishing this time of year can be very good for whiting codling huss dabs close to the shore meaning less cancelled trips. Had a fair few mackerel a couple of pollock, pouts and dogs to make a good mixed bag considering the weather kept us inshore.

Report on-board Gwen-Paul-M
September has been generally calm and warm and today was no exception. We hadn't run a bass trip all year so when a regular customer booked, with a few of his friends, we didn't know quite what to expect. Live sandeels are generally the key bait, but this late in the year they are not always a guaranteed in the trawl, on the way out. We were pleased to see a couple of hundred eels in the first tow, a great result for the time of year. With the first hurdle over with we could concentrate on the fishing. We had steady fishing through the day, and boated 21 bass ranging from 2lb to 4lb, also a nice codling and a couple of pollack. Steaming home we were treated to a fine sunset over glassy calm seas.....
