Report on-board Seren y Mor
Looking forward to the first trip of the new season at the start of May, target will be the hounds which should be there in good numbers, crabs have started peeling so that`s always a good sign. Good small eyed rays also about at this time of the year so make sure you bring a pkt of sandeels. Mackerel should start in numbers at the end of the month giving the fishing in general a boost.

Report on-board Seren y Mor
Fishing has been hard during August with the mackerel disappearing and the winds returning. Main fish being caught are the ever obliging Huss and rays. Bream are starting to show again and if we get a spell of weather next month we should get a good finish to the summer species.

Report on-board Seren y Mor
June has been a good month with the hounds about in good numbers, crab as always being the top bait with many parties landing 40 fish by lunch time then trying for something else in the afternoon. Mackerel are now here in decent numbers and the tope have arrived with them, bream fishing has been a little disappointing with quality fish rather than quantity. Some nice rays and bull huss also being landed

Report on-board Seren y Mor
Fishing started a bit slow at the beginning of the month with small eyed rays and huss making up the catch, but by the middle of the month smoothounds arrived inshore in good numbers. Top bait is peeler/soft crab as usual but some days they are not too fussy and are taking hardbacks equally well, averaging 30-50 hounds 7lb-14lb in weight most days.

Report on-board Seren y Mor
After most of October being blown off the weather has been reasonable this month with a lot of Northerly winds. Fishing has been ok with conger, bull huss and spurdogs making up the catch. Top baits have been mackerel and squid. During the last week whiting have started to show in the bay with some of these going 1lb 8oz, hopefully these will now increase in size and numbers.

Report on-board Seren y Mor
Fishing like the weather has been generally good throughout July. Mackerel have been plentiful as have been the tope with many fish going close to 40lb. The bass fishing has been good with the average size down on June but there has been a lot more fish about. Best fish aboard Seren y Mor this month is a 23lb Common Smoothound caught by Greg Laycock from Milford Haven (see photo), the hounds are still about in good numbers but crab is a must. Hopefully the weather will return in August and the fishing will remain good.
