Hi it's skipper lee williams here the start to 2019 has not been the best with a slow start to the pollack season we are now in to February and we are just starting to see some pollack on a couple of wrecks off the south Devon coasts with the average Pollack so far being around 12 LB when the weather gods let us out we have also been doing a few mid week in shore bait trips hoping to find an illusive cod but they dont seem to be around but we're still catching some nice size whiting, pout ,dog fish fishing local in the bay because of numbers on the boat still looking to get a few more in the middle of the week trips to try some futher a field trips to more prospus grounds i will keep you posted on the pollack front hopefully we will see a few more yet keep your eyes peeled on here and cbuk look forward to seeing you all in 2019 thanks lee.

Report on-board High Flyer 2
Well been a testing start to febuary coping with the strong winds which only seem to be the weekend and calm during the week! The water temperature has dropped to 5 degrees no excuse now for codling to show. we have had a few small ones nothing worth a picture , still hoping we are going to get a spring codling run soon. The whiting still about odd decent one among them not as prolific as they were but they seem to do that this time of year then return. Dabs making up the sport at slack water of all sizes to be honest i cant wait till return of the spottys and skate wont be long! Wishing my life away again. Going to lose this weekend of 10/11th feb due to the weather bit disappointing but least were safe on dry land. Website up to date with availability or if you have a certain day will try make a trip up for you. Soon as were out again will report back. tight Lines. Jon (High flyer2)

lots of sprats about and put the herring net in on occasion to get some bait and a feed for the anglers,
very few whitings now showing also on the small or slack tide a few dabs coming to the smelly baits ,
#most trips consisting of 10/20 thornbacks mainly on herring fresher the better ,
soon be off targeting other species lets hope .
tight lines chris. -
