Two personal bests in one day! I have been fishing with Mark virtually every month for over a year now. Yesterday we went on the first live bait Bass fishing trip of the year. The first challenge is catching the bait, very small Pouting, but within an hour or so we had a bulging live well, great start Mark. Then the Bass, beat my PB twice with a 71/2 then an 11.0with a total boat catch of a dozen fine fish. Thanks Mark for a great day. Mark works hard all day to make everyone have a good day whatever level of experience and the perpetual tea and coffee supplies helps on a cold day.well done Mark, see you next month. Paul.

Beware !! Skipper cancelled the trip day before due to supposedly bad weather ,even though forecast was slight to moderate seas as i pointed out .this ruined my sons birthday and we ended up fishing from shoreham harbour wall. there was hardly a ripple on the sea ,even a kayak went out fishing. took a few calls to get deposit back, would not recommend !

Skippers Reponse: You said it yourself. Forecast SLIGHT to MODERATE. That is a forecast sea state of 1m + wave height. That would translate to F4-5 wind strength. Deposit refunded 30th Aug within 4 days of trip date.

Had a fantastic day on she likes it II. easy to book, fantastic boat. Well equipped. Mark done his upmost to find fish and gave us loads of local knowledge to help us have a successful day. Very helpful with the novices on board. I have been on a lot of trips and this was by far the best.

A few of us from our angling club from the northeast of england travelled to the south coast for some channel congering. We were let down at the last minute by the skipper we had originally booked but another local skipper put us in touch with Mark on She Likes It II. What a stroke of luck for us !! We found Mark to be one of the most professional, knowledgeable, helpful & willing skippers we have sailed with (and we have sailed with a number around the UK). Within the first hour of anchoring on the wreck one of our group had their first ever conger on deck. We will certainly make the long journey down to Shoreham again to fish with Mark to sample the varied fishing he offers. What sets Mark apart ? Not just his knowledge and ability but here is a skipper who genuinely enjoys taking people fishing and seeing them catch, not just a businessman. If you are looking for a skipper on this stretch of coastline choose Mark, you won't be disappointed.

After fishing on most on the charters in the Brighton/Newhaven area over the years , I think the skipper of SHE LIKES IT II is by far the best in the area, Mark puts you on the fish , offers advice and nets your fish (which happens a lot on this boat). and best of all makes a cracking cuppa !!!!!will be booking loads more trips from now on !
