My son and I took a week off specifically to fish in Devon. We had two great days on this boat. Conditions for plaice fishing on the monday were not good but not for want of trying by the skipper and crew. We learned a lot. By friday we had sun and calmer sea for wrecking and a productive day followed. My high spot was the first and heaviest fish of the day, an 11lb8oz pollock. Boxes of pollock and mackerel now grace my freezer in Northampton. Thanks guys for the filleting lessons and all the great assistance during our outings. Hope to return soon. Tom and Dennis Allsopp.

This trip was bought as a 21st Birthday present and was one I will never forget. Skipper Dave and his crew couldn't have been more knowledgable and helpful. We went out about 20 miles and fished wrecks where we all caught giant pollock . Mine were 10 and 11lb which absolutely made my day. I can't wait to go again and would highly recommend Kellys Hero to anyone. nd

Could not have chosen a better day for this trip. The four of us enjoyed every minute of an 8 hour wreck fishing trip. Skipper Dave and crew mate Stuart made the day for us and after catching enough bait inshore, we travelled out 20 miles to sea and then drifted over the various wrecks, hoping to catch a full variety of fish, which we managed to do. Only one of us failed to catch, but between us caught Pollock, whiting and Cod, fishing at about 150 ft down. All in all a fantastic day which seemed to fly past. Kelly's Hero was well kitted out and we did manage to try various baits and lures, with the Lure winning out on the day. Next time we want a have a go for perhaps Conger and Ling. Can't wait!!
