Been out today on merlin after having a trip cancelled on the east coast due to weather started the day heading out around 7.5-8miles fishing was off to a very slow start water was fairly choppy so roger decided to head back towards Prestatyn got there on slack tide tide started turning and hey presto whiting and flounder started coming aboard nothing to write home about few in size but most returned to catch again great day had by all even those who put the ground bait down earlier in the day

After vid and tom taking the best spots on the boat leaving me and rob to fish against the wind and the tide I decided to let them bag a few so after a hour I decided to put a hook on .soon caught up with them and put two rods out and was catching so many roger had to take over one of the rods.Cheers roger for a great five hour trip we all caught well even though my spot on the boat was poached by my mates.������

Went with Rob who is one of Roger's regulars on a 10 hour trip.. My first time boat fishing. Absolutely brilliant. Roger is a gentleman, patient and helpful to first timers and also a bloomin' good laugh. I'm hooked. Will be going again asap. Thanks for a great day Roger - Mike W

Fantastic days fishing with Roger on board Merlin. Bucket loads of mackerel (literally!), dabs, huss, whiting, etc... and (as you would expect) a fair few doggies! Really good day, with fantastic weather to boot. Thanks Roger, see you next year if not before... Nick

Booked a 8hour trip , caught 6 different species, had a fantastic day, skipper is a top bloke and really helpful, can't recommend this boat enough, looking forward to another trip in june .

Had a great day out on Merlin with a mixed group of reprobates. Don't think I stopped smiling all day, great fun! Difficult conditions but we still managed to bring a few fish on board, dabs, whiting, codling, doggies, notably, one of the lads caught a nice bull huss and lost another at the boat. great fun on a great boat. will be back, for the craic especially!
