First boating trip with Rich. Had an excellent day out. Both Skipper and his mate were very helpful. Definately will be fishing on the Mistress again

thanks Rich what a cracking day never caught so many fish all on board had a box full when filleted i had 2st 10ib of fish had a struggle carrying it to the car haha i will be booking up another trip. the skipper was brilliant nothing to much trouble

Fantastic boat and skipper brill day out got some cracking fish

Again a good day out, sunny clear weather but cold. We tried 4 or 5 marks with several bites but few fish, other boats not catching much either, then upon Richard idea we moved out further and first drop all 4 of us on my side of the boat hit fish, 2 boated, including a ling of about 10 lbs. Then steady after that, I had another ling and a haddock of about 1 kg. Very well looked after and a good decision to move, so thanks, see you next time.

We had a good day out, several cod over 6 lb on the boat; wolfish, cod, pollack, billet, pouting all boated on the day. Richard and Joe were very helpful; helpful and processed all the many tangles with no fuss and quickly too, patient and professional. I was given some useful info about the area and the fishing, which was fairly steady. My frend and I came back with 7 cod , upto near 7 lb: about 33 lb in all and a bag of pouts: all in all a good day out. The deck has a raised area which is covered, this is very useful for keeping most stuff out of the way and dry. Thx Rich, and Joe.

Had a cracking days fishing with Rich, my group were all complete novices, most of which had no fishing expericence what so ever, Rich and crew were very friendly & helpful, providing top quality tackle and bait as well as invaluable knowledge and help, Rich put us on the fish and we managed to land a few descent ones too. Brilliant Day!!!

First trip on Mistress after 2 x cancellations due to weather. Boated codling upto 5lb. Richard friendly and helfull skipper. Have booked another 3 trips for 2012

What can i say Rich is by far the nicest and friendliest skipper you'll ever meet, Ive just had my second trip out on Rich copes boat Mistress based in Whitby. We fished the annual up-tide festival on monday the 21st november and with the conditions not been ideal with wind against tide we didnt expect much joy but once again Rich said ive got a few spots that WILL fish :-) well Rich was true to his word i ended up landing 6 nice cod biggest 7lb 3oz rest to 6lb a very happy angler as im currently 1st place in the festival with 2 days to go! The other anglers also had plenty of quality fish to 5lb+ You got to fish with Rich hes a top lad with loads of banter and most of all bucket loads of experience for a young skipper 10 out of 10 mate well done.
