Now i've got more time, thanks again to Rich and sidekick Jo for a great day. We had a good laugh and plenty of fish what more can you ask for? .Rich and jo had there hands full because a lot of the lads where first timers so didn't even know how to tie a hook but they sorted them out every time they heard that cry "i've broke mine off again " jo's fingers must have been killing him that night .We'll be back for more thats for sure and i can recommend it to any one you'll be well looked after see you next time lads big steve and skinny les

Had a fantastic day, Rich was very helpful and couldn't do enough for you, always had us on the fish and gave us good advice. Will defo book again with him and the boat was well laid out. Caught a 16lb cod and numerous ling. Excellent days fishing.

what a brilliant day could not of asked for more.Rich Copes knowledge is exceptional and kept us on the fish pretty much all day.Our group were all complete novices but Rich made up for this with advise and instructions,I would highly recommend this charter for anyone considering a trip out of Whitby you will not be dissopointed.We will be taking another trip on the Mistress for sure! Myself and the rest of the group would like to thank Rich and Joe for an absolute brilliant day from start to finish. Cheers untill next time the Derby lads!!!!

"THE MISTRESS" - I started fishing from a boat in 2010 and after disapointing trips on other charter boats from whitby we finally found a boat which far out classes the rest! The mistress is a fast safe platform which to work from and the skipper Rich Cope is a true gentleman who has a wealth of experiance and knows the fishing hotspots. My first trip with rich was in 2010 and we bagged a load of fish from a air plane wreck we were pulling pollack, ling and cod in all day!!! every trip after my first with the mistress was a real pleasure and treat to be on board, it makes all the difference when you feel safe and the skipper is truly helpful and knows his fishing, the mistress is my first choice and Rich Cope i would now call him a good friend! To all the fishermen amongst choose wise choose the MISTRESS

Rich cope is a brilliant skipper i had organised a trip for 10 people 8 of which were novices to sea fishing. Leadingup to the day Rich was always available to answer any questions via phone or e-mail. On the day the weather wasnt its best but Rich soon had the lads and lasses pulling cod in.Nothing was to much troube for Rich who didnt stop all day helping people with rigs,bait,tangles,and attending to the sea sick ones too. A genuine guy who loves fishing and loves others fishing and catching too despite the cold and wet everyone left happy with pleanty of cod and smiles........Thanks Rich for your patients and giving us all a great day it wont be long before we book again good luck from everyone on the 20/11/2010 trip!!

Booked a wrecking trip with Rich.Although we all had the gear none had ever done any wrecking before that was not a problem to Rich.He Had plenty of time time to guide us where we were going wrong and loads of laughs. Nothing is too much trouble for this guy loads oftips and encouragement throughout the day.
