first day out this year on mistress, yet another good day , had 16 fish in total 12 cod , a couple of pouting one doggy and a whiting everyone caught , as usual a good crack on the boat , if you havent tried uptiding give it a go, once again cheers rich.,

A great day out today, Rich. A really friendly boat with help there when you need it, and some cracking anglers on board who you can learn such a lot from. All of them willing to share advice and with a great line in banter.

My first trip out on Mistress in 2015. A freezing cold day but we ended up with some cracking cod uptiding. Rich was helpful as always and the fish were of a good stamp. We had the feeling better fish were in the area and this was confirmed with two tussles with what were easily double figure fish. A good trip out.

A late November outing on the mistress with Rich proved bountiful with a good haul of cod and a few good ling. Rich formulated a plan for the difficult conditions and headed out to the first mark.Resulting in Alan hauling in a 9 and 1/2pound cod followed by another 4 of similar size.Skipper worked hard moving us from mark to mark, advising at every drop. Great days fishing!!

As always 100% commitment from the best skipper (my own opinion) out of Whitby, Very testing conditions but as always Rich found the fish and no one left empty handed and as an added bonus we took 1st 2nd 3rd and the heaviest bag in the uptide comp daily prizes (clean sweep) :-) Cheers Rich and keep up the good work

What a great day out! The November sun shone all day, the sea was calm, the company was lovely (I went on my own but soon made friends) and the fish were biting! I managed to land ten codling up to 5 lbs - my best day this year. I've been out many times with Rich and he always tries his best to put his anglers where the fish are - more often than not we have a good day and that's down to Rich's hard work and not just luck! Thanks again Rich.

First trip out with Rich was an early season uptiding trip. What a day! We were on the first mark long before the sun even broke the horizon and the first fish where on the boat within minutes. We fished that mark for maybe an hour and then is started to slow down so we were off to anchor on another mark and that was the pattern of the day. I kept 13 coding up to about 4lb but I literally lost count of the number of size fish I put back to fight another day because they were cleanly lip hooked. Rich is a top skipper that really knows his stuff and works really hard to keep you on the fish. He’s also a top bloke and it’s a great boat too. Highly recommended

fished on monday, first time on mistress, also first time up tiding . Had a great day got 16 cod 8 keepers learnt alot , thanks to rich for putting us on the fish, il be back. tony from doncaster
