Great day out with Dave at the helm. Easterly wind made for rough seas but we got in a full days fishing. First bank did not produce any bass and was pretty uncomfortable with some big seas so Dave brought us into the shelter of Scroby. made a couple of moves to get the best of the tide. plenty of codling came aboard but all under the size limit unfortunately. I had 5 codling, 4 doggies and a whiting so not a bad haul for the dreaded Easterly wind direction. great day, cant wait for the smothies and skate to start showing.

A tough days fishing, other boats went home not being able hold anchor. Jon used his exprience and relied on the hull shape of the flyer to keep us in one spot and also to keep everybody on the boat comfortable and in a position to fish. You can't rely on the fish but you can rely on this skipper. You can tell Jon doesn't like it when his passengers aren't catching that many fish. I'd like to thank Jon for his hard work the other day its good to see a skipper that doesn't just sit in the wheelhouse when things are quiet. I'm now looking forward to going out again in April as one of Jon's many repeat customers. Cheers mate..
Skippers Reponse: Thanks Jez was hard work with the weather etc. Thanks for the comments makes the job more worth while. Look forward to seeing you guys soon. All the best. Jon.

Another great day on the High Flyer. It's worth the journey if you want to have a good laugh and catch fish. Was able to catch a fish for the misses and then some. Such a good time. Hope the weather gets better and start to catch some tope this year.
Skippers Reponse: Saving you a big tope shannon so big you can take the hooks out bud! Always pleased to have you aboard appreciate it. Jon.
