Fishing a bit slow with doggy,s smooth hound and rooker on board by the end of the trip, good skipper knows his job well worth another trip when time allow
Skippers Reponse: Cheers Lenny doggies again! Please bring better weather with you next time!

Excellent trip with Jon as always. Plenty of fish, good to see the first Bass of the season coming aboard along with a very nice Thornback. Plenty of tea and good natured banter, can't wait for the next trip.
Skippers Reponse: Thanks Paul, was a most enjoyable bank holiday, weather held for once! What a way to spend a birthday! All the best. Jon.

Fab day's fishing...Skipper knows his stuff and a great teacher to us newbies...Pity no cod, but the whiting, dabs & herring were great!!! Plus who can moan at a constant supply of tea and lots of chocolate biscuits!!! Thanks again Jon... See you again soon!
Skippers Reponse: Thanks Tasha, soon be experts! Hope to see you in better weather next time. Maybe a summer cod. All the best. Jon.

My first time on a boat and i definitely made the right decision when i picked the "high flyer". A great boat with a really knowledgeable and friendly skipper, Jon Old. No cod today unfortunately (not through want of trying by the skipper) but a great day nevertheless with a bunch of great guys. Lots of hot soup, tea and coffee , and a variety of biscuits to go along with the ceaseless banter. Lots of whiting and a couple of Dabs only this time but you would have to go a long way to beat this day out. I will be back, Many Thanks Jon
Skippers Reponse: Thank you Adrian, pleasure to have you aboard, its all about having a great day out, glad you enjoyed it. Jon

had a brilliant day out on high flyer...loads of whiting..sadly no cod but definatley not through lack of trying...just to much natural bait for them...all looking forward to the next trip where hopefully we wont get spratted...
Skippers Reponse: Hi Ian, appreciate your comments. Hard work wasnt it! Roll on spring bud!! Be pleased to see the doggies!!!

Yet another enjoyable day fishing with jon and the high flyer.this time we managed to get out to the 5 mile bank ..large cod on fish finder everywhere but none were caught . Large waves forced us back to corton roads where plenty of whiting kept us going .no cod but all boats in the area blanked too as huge spratt shoals were in shore and cod full to brim of them so this being the reason the cod were not interested.great company on boat and with jons home made soups and tea all day made the day fly by .. thanks jon back soon with richard too I hope
Skippers Reponse: Cheers Shaun, what a day! Bloody sprats, should of got the nets out! Thats fishing i suppose. Nice to see you again mate. Jon.

A great day - my first cod for a long time, whiting keeping rod busy though (and tasted great). Tea, coffee and soup filled the gap (thanks for that, above and beyond the call of many skippers). It was good to meet other like-minded fishermen who got on well together. The HIGH FLYER is a lovely boat, well worth a trip on - add to that a skipper that knows his trade you then have a great day out. Will be booking with you again. Thanks again. Lenny.
Skippers Reponse: Thanks Lenny, well deserved cod i reckon, appreciate comments ,turned out a good day all round. Jon
