    Report on-board Mistress Linda / San Gina3

    Hi
with the recent weather being somewhat un reliable we took the opportunity of the weather window being offered on Bank Holiday Monday to venture to the wrecks to look for Cod and Pollack, we fished several wrecks which all produced good numbers of small to medium Cod and Pollack, this certainly bodes well for the next few weeks, along with that the Black Bream in Poole Bay have increased in quality and numbers making this the ideal time to get afloat and target them. Mackeral are being caught which will herald the arrival of the Bass and Tope shortly. For more info on what is being caught from Poole or to book a place on board to catch Cod , Pollack or Black Bream please give me a call.

    Report on-board Just Mary

Hi All, with the weather window as forecast on Bank Holiday Monday and having cancelled both weekend, Saturday and Sunday dates, we enjoyed a good day Bream fishing in Poole Bay. My Facebook blog on 'Onamission Charters' has more details, photos, Anglers comments and links so if you can please read that in full. However suffice to say that the Bream are IN and Poole Bay marks are fishing well if only we could get some light winds, nice Sunshine and calm seas to enjoy this great Sport. So until then.....all the best, Malc, 'Just Mary', Poole.

  • 04/2015 Fishing Report by Lyle Stantiford on Supanova II (Weymouth, Dorset)

    Apr 2015 by Lyle Stantiford

    Report on-board Supanova II

    Hi All,

As April winds up it has probably been my most successful April in a very Long time.

Inshore fishing at times has been slow but over the last couple of weeks has really taken off, Plaice numbers have improved along with Turbot and the arrival of the Bream has been great fun.

Wrecking has just been fantastic, superb catches of Pollack with the first of the Cod appearing. What has made it has been probably the best ling fishing experienced from Weymouth for a decade. Great specimens and anglers with a great attitude to say 'let's try something different' when everyones had a couple of Ling.

May will see all of the above improve, especially the Plaice, Bream and Cod and hopefully the arrival of decent numbers of Mackerel.

May see's me busy with Channel islands work, so watch this space for the happenings over there.

Thanks to all that continue to come to Weymouth and make the port what it is. Keep on coming!! The best boats, skippers and overall angling in the UK.

    Tight Lines,

    Lyle
