Day 1 - Species/Hunt competition - The Winner was Jamie Nash with 222 points and Runner Up was Stephan Attwood with 216 points.
Day 2 - Big Fish competition - The Winner was Pedro Abreu with 243 points and Runner up was Jamie Nash with 221 points.
Incidentally Pedro was on his first ever trip on Flamer IV and did extremely well catching some good fish and had several on the score sheet before any one else despite his disability of having no fingers and only a thumb on his right hand. Just "Brilliant " I thought , Well Done "Team Pedro".
Pictured is Pedro's friend Mehboob with his 10Ib 2oz Small Eyed Ray. -

Summer 2020 Fishing !!!!!!!
View Boats Page
Once we started fishing again in early July the Fishing Trips out of my summer port of Paignton have been non stop. Operating fully Covid Secure and with a maximum of 6 anglers aboard the prop has barely stopped turning for Our Joe - L.
The Fishing Holidays have been very popular again with the last couple of spaces throughout the short season filling up from guests that had planned to fish Norway but were unable due to ever changing travel restrictions in place
Fishing the Skerries Bank this year has seen a decent number of good sized place over 2lb with the biggest aboard OUR JOE - L to Roy Bigg who landed a 3lb 10oz followed by several more over 2lb on the same day!
The Inshore Reefs have proved tough work but some decent Black Bream and Bass showed up.
The Offshore Wrecks have fished very well at times with the best day producing over 100 fish to the boat drifting on lures. Mainly pollock with the occasional cod to around showing up. later in the year the Bream started to fish on the wrecks in decent numbers with only a couple going over 4lb so far! This years biggest conger Eel so far has been to Paul Maris of 65lb.
There is still plenty of time to fish with me aboard OUR JOE - L, now throughout the winter operating out The River Dart, Dartmouth& Kingswear.
Best FIsh of summer fishing holidays 2020:
Bass 9lb
Black Bream 4lb4oz
Pollack 15lb
Cod 9lb
Ling 21lb
Small Eyed Ray 10lb
Plaice 3lb 10oz
John Dory 4lb6oz
Conger Eel 65lb
Bull Huss 12lb

Report on-board Mistress
Hi guys time for an update! The weather has dealt us a very poor hand this week, but between our last report and this one the fishing has come on tremendously!
View Boats Page
Weve seen some quality fish at anchor now theres a good bit of colour inside.
Everyone has been getting good numbers of fish each trip, with what seems like thousands of small codlings in the 36-38cm range. Legal yes but ethically we always try not keep anything under 40cm unless gut hooked. So plenty of throw backs each trip.
Best bait as always is black lug and squid cocktail.
We've taken our 1st batch of black lug now so Bait Packs will be available again to our anglers, which will need to be pre ordered the night before the trip.
At the minute long range i can see only monday available weather wise, we have 2 places available still. Its £55 per person.
